Rebel factions oust ISIL from most of Jarablos in Aleppo

(Aleppo) Opposition battalions seized control yesterday afternoon over most areas in the city of Jarablos, in the Aleppo countryside, as rebel fighters managed to break into and later control the city's prison, a stronghold occupied by the Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant (ISIL), which also serves as its headquarters.

Furthermore, rebels announced they managed to free 70 detainees, including one child, who had been held captive by ISIL in the prison. Meanwhile, battles continue to rage near the Cultural Centre and the town's serail, the last ISIL strongholds in the city of Jarablos.
