FSA attacks ISIL checkpoint in Al-Raqqa

(Al-Raqqa) Free Syrian Army (FSA) forces attacked Al-Sibahiyeh checkpoint which is controlled by the Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant (ISIL) west of Al-Raqqa, today.

According to sources, FSA forces managed to kill two ISIL fighters during the operation and captured two others. However, the rebels were unable to seize control of the checkpoint.

Yesterday, FSA fighters assassinated five ISIL militants using a suppressor-equipped gun in the Al-Raqqa national hospital.
