Local Coordination Committees called upon Kurdish Democratic Union party (PYD) political and military command to refrain from violations which they described as “blatant towards civilians”. The LCCs also demanded PYD to “change their strategies and methods in the region”.
A number of YPG militants, pertaining to the armed wing of the Democratic Union party (PYD) burnt down offices of Kurdish parties in Amouda part of Al-Hassakeh governorate. Amongst Kurdish parties affected are the Yekiti and Azadi. The militants also confiscated soft weapons and applied a strict siege over Dari Hospital.
Clashes took place yesterday in the city of Amouda in Al-Hasakeh. The conflict was between members of the Harakat Al Shabibah Al Thawriya (Revolution Youth Movement) who are supporters of the PYD (the Democratic Union Party) and detainees’ families who demanded the release of their children,
